A classy and glamorous wedding for this young couple from Kent, England. Danielle, a 22 year old treasury assistant, and Phillip, a 26 year old self employed plasterer, married on the 12th September 2021. Danielle and Phillip met at work 3 years before they got married.
The proposal was a complete surprise for Danielle, when Phillip proposed during a holiday to Iceland under the northern lights! The engagement ring was a square yellow diamond on a gorgeous gold band.
Danielle’s dress was a strapless, low cut fitted gown, that was plain at the front and completely lace at the back, she adorned it with dangling pearl earrings and a stunning single pearl necklace.
For her ‘Something old, Something new, Something borrowed and something blue’ Daniele, had a ribbon from her mum’s wedding dress tied around her wedding bouquet of white roses, her something new was her dress, her borrowed was a hair clip and the blue was her makeup brushes.
Whilst Phillip wore a pale blue three piece suit and his best men wore grey three piece suits. Danielle’s bridesmaids wore floor length strappy navy blue satin dresses from Pretty Lavish.
The couple chose Liopetro Venue for their wedding after finding us on Instagram, “[Liopetro was] the most beautiful venue we had found, classy and simple. The venue was so helpful and we couldn’t picture the wedding anywhere else after we saw Liopetro”.
During the cocktail reception, the newlyweds had a saxophonist to entertain their guests and a DJ throughout the evening playing classic music (such as Elvis), 80s and dance music. They shared their first dance as Mr & Mrs to ‘At Last’ by Etta James.
The venue was decorated beautifully with Danielle’s favorite flower, white roses, which aligned the aisle and along the head table too. Candles were placed everywhere and nothing else, as the couple wished to keep it simple and classy.
With a traditional Cypriot Meze for their evening dinner, the couple gave their guests a true taste of Cyprus and offered Cypriot Delights as their wedding favors too.
Their wedding cake was a simple plain white three tier cake that was decorated with olive leaves along the side. They opted for three different flavors per tier including a fruit cake, walnut cake with baileys cream and a banana cake with fudge cake.

“[The] dinner setting, the staff were so attentive, music was perfect and food was unbelievable, setting was very romantic- highly recommend and horse shoe table shape – our guests loved it “
